Master of Business Administration or MBA is a post-graduate program. The program is a popular one throughout India and abroad. It is a 2 year program and is a gateway to several job opportunities. The most important feature of the program is that students from any background including science, commerce and Arts can pursue the course. However, in most of the colleges, the cut-off marks for a graduate is 50% in aggregate for taking admission to MBA program.

You can choose the mode of pursuing MBA program according to your choice and comfort. The different modes of the programs are Regular, Online and Distant ones. Some professional MBA programs like executive MBA are also found customized especially for professional individuals. Those offer weekend classes. The full-time programs include theory, practical assignments and internships in the two-year program. CAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT are some of the entrance exams conducted once a year or twice a year.

MCA or Master of Computer Application is a three-year post graduate course. If you want to take admission to MCA program, you must fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for taking admission to MCA program are to pass bachelor degree course in computer application (BCA) or any related field. The institution or college where the candidate is going to take admission has their own cut-off marks and follow some specific entrance exams.

In this course, there is option for direct admissions and admissions through entrance test. Direct admission is done on the basis of merit in qualifying exam. In case of entrance test, candidates have to qualify in the test and based on the marks obtained. However, there is counselling for seat allocation before admission.
